Payment Policy on Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean offers a clear and flexible payment policy, with all transactions processed in U.S. dollars. The policy is designed to support guests with straightforward terms and manageable payment options.

Deposit Requirements

Deposit amounts vary depending on the length of the cruise, the number of guests per stateroom, and the stateroom category. Deposits are refundable up until the final payment due date, unless booked under a non-refundable fare. Standard deposit amounts include:

• $100 per passenger for cruises lasting 1 to 5 nights
• $250 per passenger for cruises lasting 6 to 9 nights
• $450 per passenger for cruises lasting 10 to 14 nights
• $500 per passenger for cruises 15 nights or longer
• Bermuda sailings require a $250 deposit per person, regardless of cruise length
• Suite deposits are 10% of the cruise fare or the standard deposit amount, whichever is greater

Final Payment

Final payment is due based on the length of the cruise:

• 75 days before departure for cruises of 1 to 4 nights
• 90 days for cruises of 5 to 14 nights
• 120 days for cruises of 15 nights or longer

Bookings made after these deadlines require full payment at the time the reservation is made.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made before the final payment date incur no penalty, and deposits are refunded unless non-refundable. After the final payment date for cruises up to 14 nights, the following penalties apply:

• 50% of the fare is charged for cancellations made 74 to 61 days before departure
• 75% is charged for cancellations made 60 to 31 days before departure
• 100% is charged for cancellations within 30 days of departure

Refunds are not available once the cruise has begun.

Flexible Payment Options

Royal Caribbean offers flexible payment options, including the FlexPay program and financing through Affirm. FlexPay allows you to divide your balance into up to 10 payments with customizable amounts and dates. Accepted payment methods include major credit and debit cards, Royal Caribbean gift cards, and Affirm.

Currency and Insurance

All pricing is in U.S. dollars. International guests should be aware of exchange rate fluctuations. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against cancellations, interruptions, or other covered events that could result in non-refundable expenses.
