Gentle manatee swimming in Florida’s bright blue waters.

At Cruise Manatee, our name says it all. We love cruising, and we love manatees. These gentle giants are part of what makes the waterways we sail so special. Sadly, manatees face ongoing threats from habitat loss, water pollution, boat strikes and food scarcity. We want manatees to remain a symbol of gentle beauty for everyone who follows after us.

Our Vision

As Cruise Manatee grows, we plan to dedicate a portion of proceeds from our website to manatee conservation. Every article you read, every product you purchase and every partnership we build will help fuel this mission. Our goal is simple: make sure that manatees continue to thrive in the wild, so future cruisers can enjoy seeing them in their natural habitat.

We are proud to help support the Save the Manatee Club, one of the leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to manatee conservation. Founded in 1981 by singer Jimmy Buffett and former Florida governor Bob Graham, the Club works tirelessly to:

  • Protect manatees and their habitats
  • Advocate for stronger conservation laws and policies
  • Educate the public on how to coexist safely with manatees
  • Rescue, rehabilitate and release injured manatees

How You Can Help

Here are simple ways you can join us in supporting manatee conservation:

1) Adopt a Manatee
Symbolically adopt a manatee through Save the Manatee Club and receive an adoption certificate, photo, and updates about your adopted manatee.

2) Make a Donation
Your donation supports manatee rescue, habitat restoration and education programs.

3) Spread Awareness
