MSC Cruises operates one of the most modern and stylish fleets at sea, featuring European-inspired design, diverse onboard experiences and a strong focus on sustainability. With ship classes ranging from the intimate Lirica Class to the groundbreaking World Class, MSC offers something for every type of traveler. Each class reflects MSC’s evolution as a global cruise brand, combining innovation, elegance and value.

World Class

The newest and largest class in the MSC fleet, World Class ships are designed with next-generation sustainability and passenger experience in mind. These ships feature spacious open decks, a futuristic Y-shaped structure, and advanced environmental technology. MSC World Europa and MSC World America offer expanded entertainment zones, new dining concepts and family-focused neighborhoods.

Meraviglia Plus Class

An evolution of the original Meraviglia design, Meraviglia Plus Class ships are slightly larger and feature more public space, new restaurants, and expanded technology. MSC Grandiosa and MSC Virtuosa offer the indoor Galleria promenade with LED dome ceiling, Cirque du Soleil-style entertainment, and upgraded MSC Yacht Club suites.

Meraviglia Class

Known for blending large-scale features with a refined onboard atmosphere, Meraviglia Class ships include MSC Meraviglia and MSC Bellissima. These ships introduced the two-deck indoor promenade, digital innovations like Zoe (the in-room assistant), and a range of family-friendly attractions including aquaparks and F1 simulators.

Seaside EVO Class

These ships expand on the successful Seaside platform with more space and redesigned public areas. MSC Seashore and MSC Seascape include larger outdoor spaces, new restaurants, an expanded MSC Yacht Club and more ocean-view venues along The Waterfront promenade.

Seaside Class

Designed to bring guests closer to the sea, Seaside Class ships such as MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview feature open-air walkways, panoramic elevators, outdoor dining, and waterslides that extend over the ship’s edge. These ships are ideal for warm-weather cruising with their open-concept design.

Fantasia Class

Blending classic luxury with modern comforts, Fantasia Class ships like MSC Fantasia, MSC Splendida, MSC Divina and MSC Preziosa introduced the MSC Yacht Club concept, featuring private access areas and butler service. The class also emphasizes elegant decor, large theaters and multiple dining options.

Musica Class

A more traditional design, Musica Class ships such as MSC Musica, MSC Orchestra, MSC Poesia and MSC Magnifica focus on a balanced cruise experience. Guests enjoy ample pool space, multiple lounges and a mix of international dining in a more intimate setting.

Lirica Class

The most compact ships in the MSC fleet, Lirica Class vessels like MSC Lirica, MSC Opera, MSC Armonia and MSC Sinfonia offer a relaxed, intimate atmosphere perfect for regional itineraries. These ships are popular for their personalized service, cozy public areas and Mediterranean flair.
